Working Together

You and I are going to build a different kind of relationship than you may have experienced in any of your past efforts to improve your health and well-being. This plan does not use prescriptions, dangerous surgery, warnings, or fear tactics.

Instead, I'll be your coach, your guide. Together we'll put you on the path to taking permanent charge of your health.

Changing lifelong habits takes effort and can be stressful at times, especially in the beginning. Just remember, this plan isn't the product of medical research alone, or of the more than thirty years experience of the physician who developed it.

This plan was forged through real life experience -- from the experiences of the thousands of people helped by it to reach a healthy weight and live a healthy life. Working with the physician who developed this program and a network of like-minded health coaches across the country, I've fought alongside the people I have coached as they worked to create health in their lives. I've joined them in celebrating their successes. And with each and every one, we have listened and learned what works and what doesn't, what's easy and what's hard.

This plan is a culmination of those experiences. It's about good habits and bad ones -- about making a fundamental choice to create optimal health. I've made that choice, and I know that you can, too.

Think of this plan as the roadmap for your journey to optimal health.

We begin by teaching you the knowledge you need to prepare for your journey. After all, getting where you want to go depends on knowing where you are right now, and understanding what you're up against. Next, we will take you through three distinct phases that help you master practical tools for long-term health. And then we will study the principles of longevity -- ways to extend your life and enjoy your newfound health with every step.

Results vary. Typical weight loss is 2-5 lbs per week for the first 2 weeks and 1-2 lbs per week thereafter.
